Applied Materials’ RF Center Of Excellence is searching for an intern to join our team in the summer – fall of 2024! We are seeking a driven and highly motivated engineering student with strong communication and time management skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. The position will entail the following
Mission
- Document and drive DFX (Design for Excellence) changes to new products
- Assist engineers in prototyping and testing new designs
- Design and build fixtures for production and testing
- Operate and maintain 3D printers to create prototypes and parts
Profile
- Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks
- Experience with CAD software and 3D printing a plus
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
